My Sisters, My Tribe

My Sisters, My Tribe

My sisters, my friends, my family. My tribe.

My tribe is the people who I can consistently rely on to help make my life more pleasant, more bearable, and more possible.

My friends who would drop everything to watch my kids in an emergency. My mother who would fly across the world to help me if I asked her to. My blood sisters who live hundreds of miles away who I can call upon day or night just to talk. My internet sisters who share a digital safe haven where no topic is off limits and I can count on for an honest response.

These women add to my mortal experience by guiding me, bolstering me, and encouraging me. I would be lost without my tribe!
